Strigidae Bubo: the CAL
Here we are, at section 16 already. It doesn't feel like I've been doing this every Saturday morning for 16 weeks, but the numbers don't lie. We are so close to the finish. So close.
This week is more of the heavy puff/feather border section. Your Bubo grows by 4 rounds this week.

Round 101 color 5
Join with a standing sc in any corner sp, (ch2, sc) in same sp. *FPsc around next st. Working in front of the ch1, dc in 2nd sk st of R100. [FPsc around next st. Working in front of the ch, dc in sk st of R100] 108 times. FPsc around next st. (Sc, ch2, sc) in next corner sp* 4 times, omitting last corner sp. Join to the first st with a slst. DO NOT FO.
110 FPsc,109 dc, 2 sc ea side
Round 102
**Hint**
Except the first and last of each side, all puffs are worked in the dc of R101.
Ch2, does NOT counts as a st, puff in same st. *(2Dc, ch2, 2dc) in next corner sp. [Puff in next st, ch1, sk 1 st] 110 times. Puff in next st* 4 times, omitting last puff. Join to the first puff with a slst. FO.

Round 103 color 6
Join with a standing sc in any corner sp, (ch2, sc) in same sp. *Sc in next 2 sts. [FPsc around next st. Working in front of the ch1, dc in sk st of R101] 110 times. We have two more weeks together now. Only six more rounds to go. We have made it through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's together. A lot of holidays and time when you stop to think about it.
Next week we will finish up the puff/feather section. Your Bubo will then have a nice weight around the edges.
