Welcome to the first section of Strigidae Bubo! This happens to be the most challenging section of the entire pattern, but don't worry we will get through it together.
In this section you will be making two eyes, then putting them together. Once the two eyes become one you will then begin the blanket. They eyes are attached to this third piece. After the three small pieces are joined together the rest on the blanket is made in rounds.
Please take the time to read through the getting started pages of the CAL before you begin. It may save you a bit of time and frustration later.

Take a deep breath, you made it through the first of two tricky sections. You won't have to wait long for the second, it will be coming up next week when we will build the rest of the face.
I strongly recommend taking this time to stitch in all your ends. I know it is a chore we all hate doing, but you'll thank me later for suggesting this.
Please remember this pattern is my original design and is protected by copyright. It is and will be available only on my website.
